Residents recently received a flyer in their trash bill which incorrectly stated that Cox Communication phone numbers were not part of the 911 system. Land line phone subscribers of AT&T, Verizon, and Cox Communication are automatically included in the 911/AlertOC system. Wireless carriers, including AT&T Wireless and Verizon Wireless, are not included in the system. [...]
