Free flu shots will be available for folks 18 years of age and older from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 24932 Veterans Way.
Public health officials say it’s too early to tell how severe flu season will be here, but it’s not too late to protect yourself. People who have already received the flu vaccine this winter season do not need an additional shot.
In addition to getting vaccinated, people should wash their hands frequently and stay home when they are sick. Frequently touched surfaces should be cleaned and disinfected at home, work and school.
For information about the flu shot, contact your doctor. To contact the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, call 949-470-3062.
