Mission Viejo-based InSpirit Center for Spiritual Living Orange County is hosting a series of “Organic Dinners” starting Friday, October 12 that will feature fresh and organic meals and a host of environmentally friendly topics.
The dinners are from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the center located at 25782 Obrero Drive.
Tonight’s dinner – “Create Your Own Sustainable Water Supply” – will focus on simple, cost-effective strategies to capture rainwater and reuse grey water from your washing machine, showers and sinks.
Other dinners will follow on November 16, December 14, January 18, February 22 and march 15. Topic details are available by clicking here.
The series complements the City of Mission Viejo’s efforts of educating the public on a wide-array of environmental topics.
Cost is $25 per person, and folks should bring their own plates, utensils and beverages. All proceeds are invested in green programs at the nonprofit InSpirit Center.
