The public is invited to help benefit the Capistrano Valley High School Boys Basketball program by purchasing firewood on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The firewood sale is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind the DoubleTree Hotel near the Dana Point Harbor in Dana Point. There will be signs and folks directing people to the exact location.
Residents can obtain first-of-the-season premium firewood loaded into their vehicles for a good cause. Modern Tree Service is donating the firewood, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the team.
