Save the date for Hometown Halloween, a time-honored community celebration that caters to all ages.
The fun-filled event, sponsored by the City and conducted by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
The event includes game booths, crafts and pony and hay rides. The Halloween celebration features tasty fare and the Wacky Whitchin’ Kitchen, a pint-sized haunted house. Trick-or-treating kicks off at 6 p.m. and lasts until the candy runs out.
Kids decked out in their favorite costume will enjoy walking the red carpet during the costume parade.
5’ Rabbit, a band made up of local dads who have been jamming together for about a year will entertain the masses, while folks enjoy food from Jersey Mike’s, California Kettlekorn, Dandy Cotton Candy and Maui Ice Tropical Freeze.
Masks are not allowed on anyone over the age of 12.
