Local hiking and bicycling groups and others who enjoy the region’s recreational trails are invited to take part in a celebration October 18 of the Aliso Creek Regional Riding and Hiking Trail, a newly designated “National Recreational Trail.”
The 10 a.m. celebration will take place on the Aliso Creek Bikeway at the rest area located off El Toro Road close to Marguerite Parkway. It will include the unveiling of a special sign by Orange County Supervisor Pat Bates.
