With 28 years of teaching art classes to all ages, Fariba Bashar breathes art and creates magic with oils. Her exquisite work can be seen along the library’s north wing.
Beth Kukuk uses all natural materials to create original, easy-to-wear jewelry designs. Her work is simple, modern, delicate, organic and beautiful.
Sharon Meritt of Design With Merritt has experience as an aerospace engineer and a math teacher, so computer graphics comes natural for her. Combining her love for the outdoors, nature, animals and color, she is creative and takes pride in her work.
Michael Weitzman started working on photography about 8 years ago. Using a variety of cameras, he made it a point to shoot photos every day and his camera quickly became an appendage wherever he went. Michael’s journey takes him deep into his soul and those of his subjects.
Don Strausheim has long had a love of the sea and anything to do with the ocean. In fact, this talented artist, who has dabbled with paint here and there for the past 59 years, is proud to display his “Scene of Lobster Bay Maine” painting at the Mission Viejo Library.
The work of Beth, Sharon and Michael will be on display at the Mission Viejo Library from Sept. 19 through Oct. 25. Don’s work is up Sept. 29 through Oct. 29. The Mission Viejo Library is located at 100 Civic Center.
