Parents and caregivers are invited to see an eye-opening movie October 4 about prescription drug abuse in Orange County.
The “Pills are Killing our Kids” presentation will feature the movie “Behind the Orange Curtain,” the real story of what’s happening throughout Orange County. This enlightening film won “Best Documentary Feature” at the Metropolitan Film Festival of NYC 2012.
This “must-see” movie for parents starts at 7 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Then on October 10, parents and teens (age 12 and older) are invited to the “Prescription & Over-the-Counter Drug Abuse – What Parents and Teens Should Know” presentation from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the community center. Free pizza will be served from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
