The City is teaming up with Academic Chess to host a Family Chess Night Extravaganza on Wednesday, September 19.
This fun-filled evening will bring one of the world’s most popular games to life. Folks will enjoy chess lessons from the “Chess King”; demos; friendly competition; and pizza. Families and friends of all ages and skill levels will have a blast pitting their wits. Trophies will be awarded.
This exciting night takes place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. Cost is $10 per person (and includes pizza and a drink); and $5 for each additional family member.
