The blood drive, organized by Council Member Trish Kelley, is from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in City Hall’s Saddleback Room at 200 Civic Center.
According to the American Red Cross, donating blood saves more than four million American lives each year. Blood is always needed for treatment for trauma victims; patients being treated for cancer, blood diseases and severe burns; and for surgery patients. The blood supply is at a critically low level.
Participants will receive two complimentary VIP tickets to the Laugh Factory and can enter a regional drawing for a $1,500 gift card.
