Mission Viejo residents are invited to attend free South Orange County Energy Connection fall and winter workshops that kick off this week.
The California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) have teamed up to host the free educational workshops for south county residents on the technology and benefits (financial, health, environment, etc.) of things like solar thermal; solar PV; electric vehicles; home energy efficiency; and more.
The first workshop is from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12 at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center at 25925 Camino del Avion. It will focus on solar water heating basics for homeowners.
