City Hall will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3 in honor of Labor Day and will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, Sept. 4. The City Council, which usually meets on Monday, will meet for public business at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police and fire will be unaffected by the closure, but trash and recycling services will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.
The public should also be aware of the following schedules for other City facilities:
The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center will be closed on Monday. Limited staff will be available to respond to emergency calls only. The center will reopen on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
The Mission Viejo Library will be closed on Sunday and Monday in observance of Labor Day. The library will reopen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center will be closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m.
The Recreation and Tennis facilities will be open the following hours on Labor Day:
Montanoso: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sierra: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Marguerite Tennis: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Felipe Tennis will be closed.
