You can help spouses of Mission Viejo’s adopted Marines and Sailors attend their annual ball in style by donating gently used formal dresses.
The City’s “Ball Gown Donation Drive” is underway now through the end of September. Clean gowns in all sizes and styles can be dropped off during business hours at City Hall, 200 Civic Center, or the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
The gowns will benefit the Headquarters Battalion of the 1st Marine Division. The Marine Corps Birthday Ball is held in the fall for military personnel to celebrate their service and commitment to our country just before the holiday season.
