Tyler Smith spent this past weekend working to benefit the area, while putting himself in line to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America.
Armed with about 35 volunteers, Tyler of Troop #760 installed about 100 feet of lodge pole fencing at Alicia Park.
The fencing was installed to preserve the landscaped slopes by keeping pedestrian traffic on the sidewalks and stop folks from walking up and down the slopes.
The City is grateful to this dedicated scout for his outstanding work. For information about conducting similar projects, call 949-470-3085.
