Out of the Box Learning & Arts and the City of Mission Viejo have teamed up to present “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids” August 2-3.
Local youth in grades 3 – 8 will perform this charming Disney classic that has captured the hearts of countless people. Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
With a delightfully fun score, lovable characters, and one of the most deliciously evil villains in the Disney canon, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight audiences of all ages. The production was also educational for the 32 performers, as Out of the Box Learning & Arts strives to foster reading with the organization’s productions. In studying for their parts, the kids read the story and discussed the different roles in storytelling.
Performances are at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 2 and Friday, August 3 in the Mission Viejo City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center. Admission is free and seating is available on a first-come basis.
