The public is invited to enjoy the classic Agatha Christie thriller – “Witness for the Prosecution” – on Sunday, July 15 at Mission Viejo City Hall.
The PG-rated film, which airs at 2 p.m., is sponsored by the City’s Community of Character Committee. The movie coincides with July’s character trait of “fairness.”
Starring Charles Laughton, Marlene Dietrich, and Tyrone Power and directed by the great Billy Wilder, this courtroom drama crackles with emotional electricity leading to a staggering surprise in the final scene.
Character educator Elaine Portnoy will lead a brief discussion following the film, which will be shown on a theater-size screen with theater-style seating and surround-sound at 200 Civic Center, just across from the Mission Viejo Library.
