Celebrate our nation’s independence Wednesday by attending the 4th of July Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular on Olympiad Road between Marguerite Parkway and Melinda Road.
Hosted by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, the July 4 extravaganza takes place from noon to 9 p.m. and features an impressive fireworks display, games, food and fun.
Visitors will enjoy live entertainment, contests, performances and more – including bands Blind Alley, Grand Junction and Beyond Reason. Entertainment on the main stage kicks off at noon, with performances on the freedom stage starting at 1 p.m. The fun-filled family event also includes demonstrations and comedy catering to children and adults alike. Of course the highlight of the event is the spectacular fireworks show at around 9 p.m.
A free shuttle operates from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shuttle stops are clearly marked surrounding Lake Mission Viejo.
The Mission Viejo Activities Committee is a group of volunteers who coordinate this and other family events in the City. This dedicated group has organized this event for more than two decades providing the community with a patriotic, safe and fun-filled day along with the brightest show in the valley.
