A stretch of La Paz Road will have continuous lane closures July 11-27 to accommodate median work that is part of the La Paz Road/Interstate 5 Interchange Improvement Project.
Phase “4a” of the project – led by the City of Laguna Hills – calls for reconstructing the La Paz Road median islands on either side of Cabot Road. To accommodate the work, one lane of traffic in both directions on La Paz will be closed from McIntyre Street in Laguna Hills to Muirlands in Mission Viejo.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and plan for alternate routes (Alicia Parkway or Oso Parkway). For more information, contact Laguna Hills Public Services at 949-707-2650.

who is responsible for all the mud dirt and rocks on the on-off ramps? No protection what so ever is in place to keep debris from entering traffic lanes and or sewer system.
The City of Laguna Hills is managing this project at La Paz and the I-5 Freeway. The City of Mission Viejo shares your concerns, and I will report this information to the project manager at the City of Laguna Hills.
Thank you for contacting the City of Mission Viejo.
