Chloe Sutton of the Mission Viejo Nadadores secured a spot on the US Olympic Team in the 400 Freestyle on Tuesday.
Chloe is on her way to London for the 2012 Olympic Games, four years after competing in the 2008 Summer Olympics. With Chloe’s performance Tuesday, Mission Viejo has successfully placed at least one athlete on every US Olympic Team since 1976, according to the Nadadores website. Chloe has won five medals in major international competition – three gold, one silver, and one bronze spanning the Open Water Championships, the Pan Pacific Championships, and the Pan American Games.
Chloe, who lives in Ladera Ranch, secured the spot in day two of the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha, Neb.
