Local students seeking a dynamic summer program are invited to sign up for Saddleback College’s production of “The Children of Eden,” part of the college’s Summer Conservatory.
The conservatory is a six-week intensive geared toward high school and college students. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning July 2.
The class concentrates on the education of the student artist as a whole. Students not only rehearse the show, but they gain an in-depth study of voice, movement, acting, character development, script analysis, design, and history. Students immerse themselves in all aspects of the creation of this theatrical event. The focus of the class is not about the end production, but rather about the process and learning experience.
Taking part in the conservatory is a remarkable opportunity, providing experience and exposure that simply can’t be obtained anywhere else. For more information, visit www.summerconservatory.weebly.com.
