Make plans to celebrate our nation’s independence by attending the 4th of July Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular on Olympiad Road between Marguerite Parkway and Melinda Road.
Hosted by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, the July 4 extravaganza takes place from noon to 9 p.m. and features an impressive fireworks display, music and entertainment throughout the day.
Local clubs and organizations will have booths set up for food, drinks, crafts, gifts and games. The booths act as fund-raisers for the participating organizations and help make the Faire more enticing to visitors. The fun-filled family event also includes dance and comedy catering to children and adults alike.
The Mission Viejo Activities Committee is a group of volunteers who coordinate this and other family events in the City. This dedicated group has organized this event for more than two decades providing the community with a patriotic, safe and fun-filled day along with the brightest show in the valley.
Volunteers are sought to assist with holiday activities. For more information or to volunteer, call 949-830-7066 or visit www.mvactivities.com.
