If you’re planning to join the legions of eager fans anticipating Marvel’s “The Avengers” release on May 4, be sure to see a special screening of the film at the Laguna Hills Mall to benefit a great cause.
The mall theater will host a special showing at 9 p.m. of the movie that stars Robert Downey Jr. and a host of other well-known actors. Your $12 ticket includes a small popcorn and a small drink, and 40 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Mission Viejo Relay For Life. The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. Movie tickets must be purchased by May 2 at movies.mvrelay.org.
Before you head to the movie, fuel up on some great grub at the Ruby’s Diner at the mall and 20 percent of all food and non-alcoholic beverage sales will also be donated to Mission Viejo Relay For Life. Simply bring this flier to the eatery located at 24155 Laguna Hills Mall between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from April 30 through May 6 to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
