Thousands flocked to the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park on Saturday to enjoy a springtime Mission Viejo ritual full of families, fun and a visit by the Easter bunny.
Under bright sunny skies, youngsters enjoyed pony rides; family games; photos with the bunny; and more. Children were treated to egg and candy treat stations throughout the park and a host of games, activities, crafts, music and springtime fun.
Inside the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, toddlers enjoyed a special area and folks of all ages satisfied their sweet cravings with a smorgasbord of home-baked goods by the National Charity League including delectable cakes, pies, specialty breads, cookies and novelties for kids.
The Bunny Days event, which was sponsored by the City and hosted by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District’s Recreation and Community Services Department, also featured live entertainment with 80s music by a band of “dads” and a cool kid band that pumped out the tunes.
