Middle School students are invited to take part in a unique after-school program that is out of this world. Mad Science and NASA have teamed up to bring the excitement and wonder of space exploration in the NASA Academy of Future Space Explorers Middle School After-School Program.
Developed in cooperation with NASA, the Academy of Future Space Explorers takes students on a voyage of discovery. They’ll learn about planets and moons; rocket science; atmosphere and beyond; space phenomena, travel and technology; the sun and stars; and living in space. With unique hands-on activities, amazing demonstrations and fun educational take-homes, this is an experience that is truly out of this world and geared especially for grades 6-8.
The program takes place from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesdays from March 6 through May 1 at the Thomas R. Potocki Center, 27301 La Paz Road.
There is a one-time $5 registration fee to participate in this exciting program. Registration is available at econnect.cityofmissionviejo.org by referencing course #2772. For more information, call 949-470-3061.
