The City is gearing up for the second day of its new Mission Viejo Farmers Market on Friday.
The Farmers Market features an array of fresh produce in many unique varieties and types that aren’t always found at local stores. This week’s market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center, will feature more produce venders and food options, fresh flowers, and a wholesaler serving up fresh bread.
The Farmers Market and City are working to help increase available parking at the Civic Center during the hours the market operates. The market’s Jan. 13 opening day brought about a thousand patrons yet resulted in some parking challenges. To free up more parking for patrons, some staff will park off site at other facilities and measures will be employed to eliminate parking issues.
The City and the Market manager will continue to add new, distinctive and exciting local venders and healthy food options to cater to different tastes and benefit the community.

It’s too cramped at the library. Why not the Norman Murray Center?
I agree w/Linda- why not at the NM Center and that way it could be held on Sat or Sun so us that work “9-5″ could attend.
Very ectxied to know Passerine is playing the Market tomorrow. They are one of my favorite local bands! Thank you!
