Mission Viejo Police Services is hoping residents will call, text or e-mail crime tips through the new Orange County Crime Stoppers, a nonprofit tip line working with law enforcement agencies throughout the county.
The tip line allows folks to remain anonymous and adds another way that people can help law enforcement. The tip line accepts text messages, phone calls and online message, and acts as a central line for people who wish to be anonymous.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department – as the coordinating agency for the line – receives the original tip and distributes the information to the appropriate police department. The line can receive tips for specific crimes or general information residents want to give authorities.
Read more about it here.

I scanned through the article and the “read more” portion and do not see the Tip Line phone number or email address listed. Did I miss it? If so, you might consider making such information more clear to the reader. If not, you might consider including the information in a follow-up article. It might be helpful for people to know that information, don’t you think?
welcome to mission viejo carl!
that’s the way we do things
If you click on the blue “Orange County Crime Stoppers” you will open a flyer with all the information.
It still would’ve been quicker and easier to list the phone # in the article.
