Spencer Day’s “Till You Come to Me” song was named the #1 song for 2010 on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown. Born in Utah, raised in rural Arizona, currently living in Los Angeles with extended residencies in New York and San Francisco, Day has called many places home. Along the way, he has developed an artistic sensibility that borrows from jazz, musical theater, cabaret, soul, folk, traditional pop and contemporary pop, to name a few. The Village Voice described Day as “a prodigious singing/songwriting and piano-plunking talent,” while The Mercury News described him as “a balladeer for the new century.” Day’s charitable activities have included performances on behalf of Catholic Charities, the Horizons Foundation, and the children’s health charity ONEXONE. On June 30, 2010, Day rang NASDAQ’s closing bell in recognition of his donation of earnings from downloads of his single “Better Way” to Feeding America.
