Ultimate Fighting Middleweight Championship Contender Mark Munoz will appear on “Coaches Corner” with Paul J. Higgins on Friday, December 2.
The popular half-hour weekly TV show highlights local sports activity and newsmakers in Mission Viejo. The City launched “Coaches Corner” with Higgins – a longtime sports anchor/producer – on its MVTV Channel 30 last month.
Friday’s episode will feature Munoz, a Mixed Martial Artist who’s ranked as the #3 middleweight fighter in the world. Despite being known as the “Filipino Wrecking Machine,” Munoz has a heart of gold. He hosted a recent charity event and was the keynote speaker at the City’s recent Walk Against Drugs. Munoz will discuss his background, the sport and much more.
“Coaches Corner” airs Tuesday through Sunday at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., with episodes from each previous week broadcast at 3:30 p.m.
