Welcome the holiday season with a delightful production of “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, December 3.
Based on the tale by E.T.A. Hoffman and the music of Tchaikovsky, “The Nutcracker” tells the story of young Clara, who rescues her toy Nutcracker from the evil Mouse King and turns him into a Prince. In doing so, she visits the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy and witnesses all kinds of holiday marvels.
Presented by The Puppet Company, this special holiday production includes more than 40 puppets with lively music, exciting action, and features dancing candies, prancing clowns, Chinese dragons, and more.
This free family favorite is free and geared toward ages 3 and over. The show will take place at 2:00 p.m. and again at 3:30 p.m. in the Saddleback Room at City Hall, 200 Civic Center. For more information, call 949-830-7100 ext. 5107.
