Police are searching for a man who robbed the Mission Viejo Check into Cash store on Monday and fled with $1,100 in cash.
The robbery happened around 5:50 p.m. at the store located at 24451 Alicia Parkway. The man entered the business through the front door, pointed a silver handgun at two employees and demanded cash. The employees emptied the cash registers into the suspect’s bag before he fled on foot. He was last seen heading east on Alicia Parkway.
The man is in his 20s and is described as white, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and short brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap with an unknown white logo, a blue and white long-sleeve shirt with a collar (possibly a flannel), blue jeans and black shoes.
