Take me out to the ballgame — and to the Norman P. Murray Community Center on November 14 at 6:00 p.m. for Orange County’s 1st Annual Baseball Conference, hosted by the Cal Knights Baseball Academy.
A full lineup of guest speakers will be on hand, including High School Varsity Coaches Chris Ashbach, Rick Brail, Jeremey Wooten, and Robert Zamora, plus an Anaheim Angels Scout, current and former Major League Baseball players, and more. They will participate in a round table discussion for both young players and parents to talk about player mechanics, improving performance, avoiding injuries, and the path from the Little Leagues to the Major Leagues.
Tickets are $5 if purchased in advance, or $10 at the door. An assortment of sandwiches and drinks will also be available for purchase from 5:30 to 6:30.
The Norman P. Murray Community Center is located at 24932 Veterans Way. For more information, view a flyer from Cal Knights Baseball Academy here, and visit www.calknightsbaseball.com to RSVP.
