Welcome the holiday season with a delightful production of “The Nutcracker.” Based on the tale by E.T.A. Hoffman and the music of Tchaikovsky, “The Nutcracker” tells the story of young Clara, who rescues her toy Nutcracker from the evil Mouse King and turns him into a Prince. In doing so, she visits the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy and witnesses all kinds of holiday marvels.
Presented by The Puppet Company, this special Christmas production includes over 40 puppets with lively music, exciting action, and features dancing candies, prancing clowns, Chinese dragons, and more!
This holiday favorite, for ages 3 and up, is free. Two programs will be offered on Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm in the Saddleback Room at City Hall, 200 Civic Center. For more information, call (949) 830-7100 ext. 5107.
