The public is invited to take part in a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, November 4. The blood drive, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and Mission Hospital, is from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St. Kilian Church, 26872 Estanciero Drive. All blood collected at the drive will be used for patients at our own Mission Hospital.
According to the American Red Cross, donating blood saves more than four million American lives each year. Blood is always needed for trauma victims, patients being treated for cancer, blood diseases, severe burns, and for surgery patients.
To schedule an appointment, register online at www.givelife.org and use sponsor code: skcc. Questions can be directed to Jessie Salmon from Mission Hospital at (949) 355-9262, salmonj@usa.redcross.org or Gilbert Correa from the Knights of Columbus at (949) 770-0710, gilnbettie@sbcglobal.net .

Thank you, Karen.
