With Halloween just around the corner be sure to mark your calendar for Hometown Halloween, a festive community celebration that caters to all ages.
The colorful event, sponsored by the City and conducted by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District Recreation & Community Services Department, is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Always memorable, spooky and fun, the event includes game booths, crafts and pony and hay rides. The Halloween celebration features tasty fare for purchase and the “Wacky Witch’n Kitchen” – a pint-sized haunted house. Trick-or-treating kicks off at 6 p.m. and lasts until the candy runs out.
Kids sporting their favorite costume will enjoy walking the red carpet during the costume parade hosted by Cookie Monster and Elmo.
Tickets for the activities are 50 cents each. The costume parade and trick-or-treat stations are free.
