If you are a “fashionista” interested in looking the part for less, then don’t miss the “Fashionable for Less” event on Sunday, October 23.
The fashion show, sponsored by the City with the Laguna Niguel American Cancer Society – Discovery Shop, is at 3 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
This intergenerational fashion show will feature teens from the Canyon Chapter of National Charity League and mature men and women modeling fashion-forward designer duds that are available for a steal. The show will feature a runway, music and fashion narration. Guests will learn how to assemble attractive ensembles with “thrifty finds.”
The Discovery Shop will give a brief presentation about its efforts to support the American Cancer Society. Clothing sold at the Laguna Niguel store benefits the society, which the City also supports through the annual Mission Viejo Relay For Life fundraiser in June.
The event fee is $3 and includes an afternoon tea and delectable desserts provided by the National Charity League- Saddleback Chapter.
