Mission Hospital is the ranked among the three best hospitals in Orange County, according to the 13th Annual Best of Orange County. The Orange County Register publication also ranked the City as one of the best cities to live in and The Shops at Mission Viejo as the second best mall in the county.
The publication reports that about one-third of all hospitalizations in South County take place at Mission Hospital and that the state-of-the-art facility was the first in the nation to use an aortic valve to replace a tricuspid valve in the heart.
Mission Hospital offers imaging software that gives radiologists the ability to bring together multiple images, such as an MRI and CT scans, for side-by-side comparisons, providing patients with more-robust analysis.
