This latest effort to support Mission Viejo’s adopted Marines complements the great work volunteers on the Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee do to benefit the men and women who selflessly protect our freedoms.
The committee was born with a handful of community volunteers shortly after the City adopted the Headquarters Battalion of the First Marine Division at Camp Pendleton in March 2006.
Fast forward several years, and that adoption committee has grown with the active support of more than 50 volunteers and thousands of others who give of their time, resources and heart for Mission Viejo’s adopted troops. The committee meets monthly in Mission Viejo or at Camp Pendleton. Like dedicated soldiers, committee members work with the Mission Viejo Community Foundation and City to provide year-round support to Mission Viejo’s adopted Marines and Sailors.

My son is a US Marine and I would like information on opportunities to volunteer for upcoming events.
