Mayor Dave Leckness will join “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Karina Smirnoff on Sept. 8 in a ribbon cutting ceremony at Robbins Brothers.
The 7 p.m. ribbon cutting is part of a grand re-opening celebration to mark Robbins Brothers’ newly remodeled Mission Viejo store at 26281 Avery Parkway.
Smirnoff is a champion ballroom dancer who has appeared often on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Born in the Ukraine, she took up ballroom dance at age 11.
The grand re-opening celebration is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature decadent desserts, “engagement” cocktails and a chance to win a dance lesson compliments of the Karina Smirnoff Dance Studio.
