The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) are still running a special promotion on Chihuahua adoptions that ends Aug. 22.
Anyone who adopts a Chihuahua will receive a $100 discount on the total adoption fee bringing the fee down to about $80. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip and flea control.
The shelter is now accepting applications and has many Chihuahuas in various colors, sizes and personalities who are waiting to be placed in permanent, loving homes.
