The City’s Marine and Sailors Adoption Committee will host a car wash and pancake breakfast fundraiser Aug. 20 to benefit Mission Viejo’s adopted Marines and Sailors.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mission Viejo Civic Center parking lot, 200 Civic Center.
The public will have the chance to buy T-shirts, caps, military coins and dog tags. People can also savor a pancake/bacon breakfast or hot dog snack served up by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee while Marines and Sailors wash their cars. All proceeds will support the Headquarters Battalion of the First Marine Division.
