Kaleidoscope entertainment center will host a mini carnival day for kids July 27 and a “wine and dine” extravaganza Aug. 10 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire.
The July 27 “Kaleido-Kids” Mini Carnival Day is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and includes inflatable games and obstacle courses, a trackless train, organized competitive games, a face painter, balloon twister, concessions for purchase, a prize wheel and more. Bring a new backpack or toy to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and receive a chance to win prizes including discounts to Kaleidoscope establishments.
Children who receive wishes from the Foundation are given backpacks filled with toys as an ice-breaker at their first meeting or as an enhancement to take on travel wishes. (Used items, stuffed animals, weapon-like toys, hair accessories and skin care items will not be accepted.)
Then on Wednesday, Aug. 10, the entertainment center on Crown Valley Parkway will host the “Red, White & Dine” – Wine Extravaganza from 7 to 10 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy an evening of starry skies, petite cuisine, and fine wine. Several boutique and renowned wineries will feature their finest wines while Kaleidoscope restaurants will pair and tray-pass specially selected finger foods. A selection of cheeses will be displayed on two separate tables highlighting red and white wine pairings. The event includes live entertainment, “swag” bags and more.
Pre-sale tickets are available online at www.gokaleidoscope.com for $40 per person, $70 per couple and $15 per designated driver. Prices at the door are $50 per person and $90 per couple. Proceeds from ticket, wine and raffle sales will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. For more information about the Make-A-Wish Foundation, visit www.wish.org.
