Save the date for a fun-filled summer evening under the stars with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, July 30.
This “must-do” Mission Viejo ritual provides the perfect setting for gathering with friends and family on lawn chairs and blankets while enjoying an array of classical favorites and pop tunes.
In its seventh year, the popular concert series is led by talented Musical Director Carl St. Clair. This year’s performance boasts a youthful flair, with the Southern California Children’s Chorus joining the Pacific Symphony for a memorable show.
The festivities kick off at 4:00 p.m. on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park with a hometown block party featuring music, family activities, games, and tasty home-style fare. At 5:30 p.m., a pre-concert “musical playground” for kids begins that includes a “conducting” clinic with Maestro St. Clair. Children will also have the opportunity to meet a musician, play a variety of musical instruments and make their own drum.
The Pacific Symphony concert follows at 7:00 p.m.
