Along with hot wings, wraps, sandwiches and burgers, Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar in the Kaleidoscope center will soon serve up entertainment, under a plan the Planning and Transportation Commission approved Monday.
The commission, which acts as an advisory panel to the City Council, gave Buffalo Wild Wings the green light to have a DJ and dancing from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
The 7,000-square-foot family restaurant, which boasts a dining room, bar, banquet room and kitchen, serves lunch and dinner in the spot that used to house the El Torito Grill. The eatery will feature a disc jockey, drum percussionist, Karaoke and dance floor in its banquet room.
The restaurant will join The Derby downstairs in offering up entertainment to the public. The Derby, a nostalgic New York-style deli, boasts dueling pianos where live music such as the Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John and others is played and the crowd is encouraged to sing, clap and play the tambourine starting at 8 p.m. nightly.
