Mission Viejo residents also recently opened Advance Care Pharmacy at 27500 Crown Valley Parkway (near Marguerite Parkway). This full-service pharmacy offers prescriptions, specialty compounding services, free delivery service and 24/7 service for hospice patients and residential care facilities for the elderly. Advance Care Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
If you have a sweet tooth, then there’s nothing like a Bundt cake to satisfy it. Nothing Bundt Cakes – one of three to open in Orange County this year – will soon open its doors next to CVS Pharmacy in the Portola Plaza at 27746-A Santa Margarita Parkway. Tenant improvements are underway on the 1,800- square foot space. The new bakery specializes in Bundt cakes of different sizes and flavors that are all frosted with a signature butter cream cheese recipe. Related retail supplies and accessories will also be sold at this location. Mission Viejo’s Nothing Bundt Cakes will bring 10 new jobs to the community. Village Montessori Center recently opened its doors in the site that used to house Nobis Prat at 22900 Los Alisos Boulevard. Business news at The Shops at Mission Viejo
Mission Viejo has been selected to be the first location in the country for the new Fossil prototype store. This 4,400-square-foot store, which opens this spring, will feature men’s and women’s apparel and the full line of accessories including watches. Fossil will be housed on the first level between the Daisy Shoppe and Cache.
Tuttle-Click Fiat reported that it will be the first automotive dealership to open at the Shops at Mission Viejo. Tuttle-Click Fiat is beginning its journey into the Orange County auto market.
This May, Ruby Thai and Chick Pita are expected to open in the mall’s Dining Veranda. The news comes as the McDonalds closed as part of a plan to close the fast-food eatery at mall locations as leases expire.
Justice (Formerly Limited Too) is undergoing a full renovation of its existing space on the mall’s lower level near Build A Bear. Justice will stay open for customers in a nearby temporary location on the upper level adjacent to Macy’s. Everything But Water is relocating from the upper level to a new location on the lower level near Nordstrom. Francesca’s Collection will move into the former Everything But Water location, near Forever 21.
