If you’re looking for a better way to honor your Valentine than with chocolates and roses this holiday, consider the gift of life. Through February 11, you can help save an animal’s life by making a donation to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center in your Valentine’s name to help the homeless animals at the facility.
Make a donation of $10 or more, and the facility will send your sweetheart a special Valentine card.
“And how sweet is this?” said Gail DeYoung, animal services manager. “Every donation will help our little darlings with medical costs, spays and neuters, and dental work. So be a sweetheart this Valentine’s Day and make a difference to our homeless pets.”
To help benefit the facility, visit http://cityofmissionviejo.org/AnimalServices/DonateNow/ and enter your Valentine’s name and address in the comments field, so that the facility can send out your Valentine card.
The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is at 28095 Hillcrest. For more information, call 949-470-3045.

I won’t be able to make a monetary donation. But I’ve washed all the blankets and toys and I’ll be brining those by in Pepper’s memory. Hoping the homeless animals will enjoy them.
Glad I’ve finally found somethgni I agree with!
