The City’s waste hauler, Waste Management of Orange County, will recycle Christmas trees for three weeks starting Dec. 27.
Simply place your tree – sans decorations and stands – curbside or in green-waste carts on your regularly scheduled trash pick-up day and the waste hauler will pick it up for free. Trees greater than six-feet tall must be cut in half.
Multi-family residents that do not have curbside pick-up service can drop off trees from Dec. 27 through Jan. 14 in large bins located in the parking lot of the City’s Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest and at the Marty Russo Youth Athletic Park, 22056 Olympiad Road, and Gilleran Park at 24960 Felipe Road.
