The 241 Toll Road is closed in both directions from the 133 Toll Road junction to Santiago Canyon Road due to mudslides, according to the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA).

Officials say they are working with Caltrans to open the roadways as soon as possible and will update the public on its Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/TheTollRoads.

In the meantime, motorists should be aware of the following:

Access to and from the 91 freeway:

  • To the 91 freeway: The 261 Toll Road remains open in both directions.  Take the 261 northbound to the 241 northbound to the 91 freeway.
  • From the 91 freeway: Take the 241 southbound to the 261 southbound, or you may exit at Santiago Canyon Road.

Access to and from South Orange County:

  • To South Orange County: The northbound 133 to the southbound 241 Toll Road toward South Orange County remain open.
  • From South Orange County: The northbound 241 Toll Road to the southbound 133 from South Orange County remain open.
