Registration is now available for Mission Viejo Pony Baseball’s spring 2011 season.
Mission Viejo Pony had a successful fall ball season with more than 20 teams competing from South Orange County. Most of the games were played in Mission Viejo. Laguna Hills High School was the primary location for the Pony division games for youths age 13 and older.
In the spring, Mission Viejo Pony will host four divisions for players between the ages of 7 and 14. The Pinto division will be for players age 7-8, while the Mustang division will host players age 9-10 and the Bronco division will take 11 and 12-year-old players. The Pony division is for players who are getting ready for high school baseball at ages 13 and 14.
Mission Viejo Pony baseball will interlock leagues with Ladera Ranch Pony and Tustin Pony to have a highly competitive season of spring baseball. Each division will have approximately six teams and the highlight of the season will be the nationally televised All-Star competition that starts in June. The Pony World Series will be aired nationally on the Major League Baseball (MLB) network in August.
Pony baseball is designed for the competitive player who is ready to play at a faster pace using real MLB rules.
