Nothing makes a more impressive centerpiece during the holidays than a homemade gingerbread house, and they are not as difficult to make as they might appear. It is also a great way to get your children involved in the holiday festivities.
Community members are invited to join expert Jennifer Jensen on Sunday, December 5 for a special gingerbread house decorating class that will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
The class will help participants get into the holiday spirit while having fun decorating their own gingerbread house. The course is open to all ages and parent participation is required for kids ages 3 to 6.
