Registration is now available for a winter running camp geared for kids in the third through eighth grades.
The camp is hosted by the Saddleback Running Club, a local distance running club for youngsters.
According to www.saddlebackrunningclub.com, the club’s goal is to promote the sport of cross country and distance running by providing local young female and male runners high-quality coaching, training and administration – developing each runner individually through consistent year-round practice and instruction, while fostering a team concept.
The winter running camp takes place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from Dec. 20-23 at Trabuco Hills High School, 27501 Mustang Run, in Mission Viejo.
